Eligibility Document Upload Instructions
Collect the following documentation for upload (jpg, png or pdf formats acceptable)
Eligibility and Documentation
Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport)
Student pilot certificate or Pilot Certificate (Private or Commercial)
FAA medical certificate (Current and Appropriate Class)
Logbook with required endorsements
Knowledge test (written) results
Completed and signed FAA Form 8710-1 (Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application)
TSA Non Citizen Approval (if applicable)
Aircraft Documentation
Airworthiness Certificate
Registration Certificate
Operating Limitations/POH (Pilot Operating Handbook)
Weight and Balance data
Maintenance logs (showing current annual and 100-hour inspections, AD Compliance
Radio license if international
Current VOR and Altimiter/static system checks
Endorsements and Logbook Review
Solo flight endorsements
Cross-country flight endorsements
Night flight endorsements
Practical test endorsement from your instructor
After gathering the documents
Download the Private Pilot Template Zip file to your computer
Expand the Zip file
Rename the Private Pilot Template directory to "your name"
Move your documents to the appropriate sub-directories
Create a new Zip File of the "your name" directory
Please upload your Zip File BEFORE tentatively scheduling your Practical Exam
Click Here to apply for Eligibility Check and tentatively schedule your Practical Exam
You will receive an email with final approval of your scheduled date after the Eligibility Check is completed
Please note that checkride scheduling typically requires 2–3 weeks of lead time, so submitting your documents and paying the fee promptly will help ensure the earliest available date. Documents will NOT be reviewed until the fee is paid.
