Operational Disclaimer

Operational factors beyond the control of the examiner may affect the scheduling, duration, or completion of FAA practical tests. These factors may include weather conditions, air traffic control delays, airport congestion, aircraft maintenance issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Applicants are expected to plan accordingly and ensure flexibility on the day of the practical test. Delays, discontinuations, or rescheduling may occur in accordance with FAA policy. All practical tests are conducted strictly in compliance with FAA regulations, guidance, and safety considerations.

All Practical Test Fees - $1500 ($500 Admin and Scheduling fee plus $1,000 Test Fee)

($500 collected when scheduling and $1,000 collected at time of test)

Administrative & Scheduling Fees

Administrative and scheduling fees compensate the examiner for non-delegated services performed prior to the practical test.  These services include applicant intake, calendar coordination, review of eligibility documents (IACRA, endorsements, knowledge test results) and preliminary aircraft eligibility review.

​

Payment of an administration and scheduling fee is required prior to final scheduling confirmation and is separate from the practical test fee.  No practical test fee is collected until applicant eligibility has been confirmed and the practical test is ready to begin.

If an applicant is found ineligible to proceed, or if the examination does not occur due to examiner availability, the administrative and scheduling fee will be refunded.   If the applicant cancels or reschedules after administrative review has been completed, the fee may be applied to a future examination date.

Administrative Scheduling Fee: $500

Same-Day Cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice): $500
No-Show: Full practical test fee due
Priority / Expedited Scheduling (subject to availability): $500

Payment Policy

Payment is due prior to the start of the practical test.
Accepted forms of payment include cash or approved electronic payment methods (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo).

Completed IACRA Application

Valid government-issued photo identification

Required endorsements and logbooks

An airworthy and properly equipped aircraft
