Private Pilot Single Engine (ASEL) Checkride

FAA-authorized Private Pilot practical exams (checkrides) for applicants completing their Part 61/141 training. The checkride is administered by an authorized FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and includes both an oral exam and a flight evaluation based on the current FAA Private Pilot Airman Certification Standards (ACS).

Follow the Checklist and the steps below for a Smooth Checkride scheduling experience

  1. Here is a link for you to review the FAA Private Pilot ACS

  2. After reviewing the Checklist Click HERE to apply and Upload your Eligibility documents and request a tentative test date and location

  3. After completing the checklist and uploading validating documents, please email me at dpe@anthonyaviationllc.com to confirm that all required items are uploaded and ready for my review.

  4. Once I receive your confirmation and complete the vetting process I will contact you to move forward and approve the requested test date and location for your checkride. Your date IS NOT FINAL until I've notified you that I've reviewed and approved the information you've uploaded and you've paid the vetting fee.

Please note that checkride scheduling typically requires 2–3 weeks of lead time, so submitting your completion notice promptly will help ensure the earliest available date
